"No money! Hehe (I noted this because as soon as we hear the word finances we just see £££s so I wanted to make a little contrast, if that makes sense?...). I know, sometimes my jokes does not work but it's good to try!"
Nerea quit her job in finances a few years ago! :P An amazing job by the way! "Dream job" for a lot of people... (Tullett Prebon - Brokers company).
She didn't want to mix it up with all her other roles because society told her not to! We tend to separate all the industries from each other as if they were independent!!
Any job, experience, activity, relationship, conversation, see, hear... EVERYTHING we do affects, influences and improves our future experiences, so why do we have to hide more than half of the things we have done if they don't match with the next step we want to do in life??
When you are not following your PASSIONS you have a VOICE that tells you to stop doing whatever is against them. Have you heard that voice?
Even when everyone was soooo proud of her for getting that job, she wasn't feeling great with herself, not even when she put it on her CV. It's such a GREAT feeling when you start filling your CV with your PASSIONS.
But as she tends to follow her own rules she has created her world doing everything she loves and has being able to share it here for you. She's very HAPPY about it!
She do believes we and everything are connected with each other!
All the industries affect each other just as all humans affect each other!
So why am would I want to hide info when I apply for a job? Or when I describe or present myself?
She has never got this point and she still doesn't get it!
If we would not have lived as we have and we would not have been in the situations we have been in, we would never be as WE ARE NOW. We are sooo lucky to have experienced what we have - whatever that is!
"DO NOT REGRET THINGS :)"1
"I spent two years working at Tullett Prebon, a pioneer brokers company. It was an amazing experience I have to say. I learned so much from it. It made me much more aware of how the world actually works... It was a "Dream Job" - travelling around Europe, visiting my clients (traders) from Barclays, Santander, HSBC, Goldmans, Commerzbank, BBVA, Citinank, JP Morgan, RBS, Scotiabank, UBS, etc. Why did I quit? I had different ambitions. The atmosphere wasn't for me. It was not my dream. It was harder to become rich there."
